What did that choice result in?
Van Santvoort Bouw has set up a well-functioning system in a relatively short time, so that the company complies with all the requirements of ISO9001 and the VCA, according to Köhler.
The system is used for various forms of registration, including incidents, near incidents and dangerous situations. But it is also used to record workplace inspections, toolbox meetings, supplier reviews, action points registration, improvement proposals and customer satisfaction measurements. Many of the registrations generate action lists that make it easier to track points.
An additional advantage, says Köhler, is that audits are much smoother and more efficient than before. Auditors get their own auditor login to the system and can better prepare for an audit. Without exception, they are impressed by the clarity, completeness of the documentation and the ease of use of ISO2HANDLE.
Important information is now easier for everyone in the company to find. The registrations and the way in which the follow-up is organized save considerable time. Moreover, this follow-up is more structured and consistent than before, so that the concept of “continuous improvement” has acquired much more content.
How easy was it to set up ISO2HANDLE?
Setting up the system itself was actually quite easy, according to Köhler. But it did take a while before we were able to start furnishing. This was because the introduction of a new system was also felt to be a good time to review all processes again and tighten them.
In that sense, the introduction was therefore also the kick-off of a new phase, says Köhler. We thought a new system with current processes was a great new start. With this new system and its current content, we are confidently entering a future where we can continue to deliver on our promises of customer centrality and continuous improvement
