What is BRL 9500?
The BRL9500 assessment guideline for the NL-EPBDÂź process certificate for âENERGY PERFORMANCE BUILDINGSâ has two parts, namely:

1. W. for Homes and Residential Buildings
2. U. for Utility Buildings

With the arrival of the NTA 8800 (Dutch Technical Agreement for the Energy Performance of Buildings - Determination Method), the GOGGLES 9500 adjusted.
These two BRLs will be certifiable as of July 1, 2020. The BENG will enter into force on 1 January 2021. This means that the method for achieving energy performance is calculated based on software that the BENG calculates based on the NTA 8800.

The BRL9500 is created and managed by the Installq. The independent foundation has broad support in the market, including installers, clients and government.â

- GOGGLES 9500-W detail (new residential buildings, permit application and completion)
