What is BRL 5019?

The Building Quality Assurance Act states that a quality assurance officer is obliged to issue a statement making it clear that the completed building meets the requirements of the Building Decree. This law will take effect on 1 January 2021.

In plain Dutch, it means that a quality assurance officer checks someone else's work on the basis of a number of established requirements. This means that a quality assurance officer must meet strict requirements to call themselves that. However, companies can check their own deliveries themselves to demonstrate that they have worked in accordance with the Building Decree.
