Good information is half the work

Whether we look at the Working Conditions Act (ISZW) or look within the framework of VCA, every employer must provide effective information about work in relation to working conditions. The VCA** is therefore very specific in that a company should do this 10 times a year toolbox meeting must keep.

One toolbox is a periodic session where a certain topic is chosen based on the work carried out by the company. Here you explain exactly what the activities entail, what risks there are and possibly with the addition of the do's and don'ts. Ultimately, the goal is that employees become more aware of the dangers and how risks remain as low as possible during work.

The best thing is if employees themselves also provide input about dangerous situations they have experienced so that the toolbox fits seamlessly with practice and is not a requirement for the norm.

For whom?

One toolbox meeting is intended for managers, executive staff and other stakeholders. (third parties) During the toolbox meeting information is provided on 1 or 2 topics related to the activities of the employees. This explains the possible dangers and risks of the subject. This is to be able to work as safely as possible. This also highlights the do's and don'ts in a simple and clear way with the aim of working safely and raising awareness of safety within the organization.

Hint: clearly state why you are dealing with a particular topic and make sure that the chosen topic is relevant to the employee. Keep it short and to the point. Images say more than 1000 words, so consider this when creating content.
